Mason Sands is a life-long Grass Dancer in the “Pow-wow” style, and travels quite extensively through-out the Great Lakes area particpating in “Pow-wows.”
Pow-wow’s are of western influence and are celebrations of life through the expression of song and dance.
In addition to practicing his culture, Mason will be entering post-secondary in the fall of 2018, and is an avid fan of music and media. Mason is of Cree/Ojibway/Haudenosaunee decent.
