Pride in the Park!

That’s right folks! This Pride is moving out of the parking lot and into Victoria Park. While not all details have been finalized we can confirm that the Festival this year will be taking place in the Park and you can expect to see some great performers, participate in some great activities and have a whole lot of fun! Once we have details finalized we will share them with you and remember to follow us on facebook and twitter!

Just a reminder that:

1. We are still selling ad space for the Pride Guide! Details can be found on the left hand side of the screen here or contact andrew@pridelondon.ca.

2. We are seeking submissions, see post below, for performers at the 2012 festival!

Pride London Festival, returning for its 30th amazing year, is seeking submissions from artists of all disciplines to perform at its 2012 festival happening Friday July 27th to Sunday July 29th Whether you’re a DJ, band, drag queen/king, dance group, comedian, Club Promoter or Producer , we want to hear from you!

This year Pride London Festival will take place in Victoria Park. 2 stages will be available this year and a strong focus on local artists will be emphasized this year.

Pride London Festival, a not-for-profit, community organization produces a unique annual event for the London and surrounding area queer Communities. It’s a FREE event supported and made possible by a large base of volunteers, corporate sponsorship, public grants and Pride London’s fundraising initiatives. The festival features several days of arts and cultural programming, community activities, the Pride Parade, Family programming and much more.

Performers participating in the Pride London festival have the opportunity to be included in the Official Pride Guide, the Pride London website, coverage through our print, radio and TV partners. If you would like to be part of the Pride London’s events in London as a DJ/Producer/Band/Artist please submit your music through the “dropbox” provided below. For all other submissions please submit an e-mail to stephen@pridelondon.ca with your contact information and a brief outline of your talents.

The deadline for submissions is March 17th, 2012, so don’t wait!
