THIRD PARTY FUNDRAISING AGREEMENT

One of the many ways to support Pride London Festival is by planning and/or sponsoring an event to raise funds for us. This kind of activity is called a "third-party" fundraiser which is an event organized by an individual or external organization that coordinates and executes the event independent of Pride London Festival. The net proceeds are donated to Pride London Festival.

Pride London Festival’s primary mission is to provide an annual opportunity to generate celebratory, cultural, artistic and educational events which affirm the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, and two-spirited people, and supporters through activities which promote unity, inclusion, and awareness of sexual and gender diversity.

A third party agreement must be signed and submitted for approval of the Board of Directors. Follow this link:

Rainbow Leadership Award for Youth

The Rainbow Leadership Award for Youth honours an area high school student for accomplishments and contributions he or she has made to the community, whether this is at home, school, religious institution, athletic or academic team, or another social group.

Candidates must be on track to graduate in the 2012/13 academic year, balance being a student and a leader while demonstrating a commitment or significant contribution to developing tolerance and acceptance of London and the surrounding area’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and two-spirited people, their supporters, or any community group represented under the diverse Rainbow banner.

Consideration will be given to academic performance and personal or financial hardship. Nominations are being accepted on behalf of youth living within the regions of the Thames Valley District School Board; London District Catholic School Board, Conseil scolaire Viamonde, Conseil scolaire de district des écoles catholiques du Sud-Ouest, including other area educational institutions and youth organizations.

The recipient will receive a certificate accompanied by a monetary payment towards his/her tuition at a Canadian postsecondary educational institution. The award will be presented as part of Pride London 2012 festivities.

Rainbow Youth Leadership Award 2013 Application

The fund that supports this award is a donor advised fund called the Rainbow Youth Bursary Fund. It is an endowed fund within London Community Foundation meaning that once a donation to this fund is received, the donation is endowed here. However, as a donor advised fund, the donors advise where the annual disbursements or grants, go. Donations to this fund can be received online or by cheque to Rainbow Youth Fund c/o London Community Foundation or cash. People can also name this fund as a beneficiary in their Will’s. We receipt any donation over $20.
