PRIDE Special Meeting

In sharing our intent to elect additional board members, we had one additional member but their name forward, confirming her eligibility to stand, we are happy to advise Bianca Robitaille is qualified to stand and is added to our list of prospective board members:

Current Bylaws require 48 hours notice of use of proxy, if you intend to utilize your proxy, you need to submit to us by 7pm tonight, and we will respond confirming that you have chosen to do so, and that the proxy is also a bonafide member and eligible to vote.

At the time of this writing we have 4 proxy votes approved.

We also had a request from a member for prospective board member bios to be shared before the meeting, I reached out, and some of the prospective members have shared the following :

Ric Moniz – Ric shared he is a gay man, married, and co parenting a teenage daughter. Ric was part owner of 52nd Street Bar,  when it operated in London, is currently working in management in food service, and has board experience including with a local queer organization. Ric was born in Portugal immigrating as a child, and additionally offers a unique perspective from a newcomer lens.

All prospective board members will be present at the meeting to offer their bio in person.
