Pride London Grand Marshal 2026: Naomi Nadea

Naomi Nadea, Grand Marshal 2026
The Pride London Grand Marshal recognizes an individual whose story, leadership, and service reflect the values of Pride. Naomi’s dedication to advocacy, inclusion, community safety, and belonging has strengthened the lives of many across London’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Naomi Nadea embodies the spirit of Pride through courage, authenticity, and a commitment to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Her life and leadership reflect the resilience, visibility, and community connection that Pride celebrates.
As a transgender woman, immigrant and community leader, Naomi has turned personal experience into a lifelong commitment to advocacy and community service. She is the Founder and Chair of the Rainbow Community of Canada and a respected advocate for social justice, racial equity, and community empowerment. Through her work, she has strengthened relationships between marginalized communities, law enforcement, and community organizations while building trust, advancing inclusion, and supporting safer communities.
Naomi has served with Pride London, acted as an LGBTQ+ Ambassador with the London Police Service, represented London at citizenship ceremonies, and advocated for the community at municipal, provincial, and federal levels. Her commitment to public service also led her to seek elected office, continuing her advocacy for safer and more inclusive communities.
Naomi has created spaces where people feel safe, welcomed, respected, and valued. She brings people together, listens without judgment, and helps others feel accepted for who they are. For many, she was the first person to welcome them into the community, offer support during difficult times, or help them feel safe in queer spaces. Through her compassion, visibility, and commitment to service, she has encouraged others to live openly and authentically while fostering a sense of belonging. Her leadership and service make her a deserving choice of this award and we are proud to have her lead the 30th anniversary Pride London Parade.
