Proxy Voting

  • In order to vote by proxy or in person, each Member needs to have been a member for at least 14 days.
  • Members are given the option of voting by proxy when unable to attend a meeting in person so long as the proxy holder is a Member in good standing and the proxies are valid for the specified voting date.
  • Proxy voting is only permitted for election votes and/or clearly defined, written and publicly available motions. Proxy voting is not permitted for motions arising from the floor.
  • Proxy forms are made available as an attachment to each specific meeting announcement email, including a reminder that Members have a right to vote by proxy.
  • Proxy forms are required to be registered with a Pride London Festival board member no later than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the vote.
  • Upon receipt of a proxy, a confirmation will be sent to the absentee member and to the designated proxy holding member before the proxy vote will be considered valid. A Member is limited to holding proxy votes for
